2nd graders make geometric figures! 3.6.13

Students from Mrs. Lerner's and Mrs. Miller's 2nd Grade Classes engaged in making solid figures out of toothpicks and marshmallows. Each student made a cube, rectangular prism, square pyramid, and triangular prism. From there, they noted how many vertices (marshmallows), edges (toothpicks), and faces (invisible part) each solid figure had. The students loved this hands on learning activity, and enjoyed the creative way their teachers had them working together to learn!
