Whittier 2nd graders and DINOSAURS!! 3.07.13

Students in the 2nd grade classes of Mrs. Lerner and Mrs. Miller continued their exploration of dinosaurs and fossils by creating their own fossils. Each student created an imprint of a fossil and the bones of a fossil by making a mold out of coffee, salt, water, and flour. The students were excited to take home their very own fossil/bone creations! What a great hands-on learning experience for every student!
