"Step up to 1st Grade" Night at Whittier! 3.14.13

Whittier Kindergarten teachers and 1st grade teachers led our annual "Step up to 1st Grade" Night for current Kindergarten parents. The evening session was filled with curious parents, and our teachers did an AWESOME job giving them important information about their children's big step to 1st grade next year! Curriculum, expectations, the organization of the the day, Common Core Standards and even talk of the new construction was on the agenda. As usual, it was a well organized and well thought event, with parents leaving excited about the upcoming year!
