"Serpent Safari" Comes to Whittier! 1.30.13

On Wednesday, January 30th, Second Graders at Whittier Elementary School were visited by live reptiles from Serpent Safari!  This in-house field trip was a culminating activity to the "Look Again/ Camouflage" Unit. The presenter answered student questions and shared interesting facts about each animal.  Each student was also able to hold a variety of reptiles like garden snakes, an alligator, and a large python! Everyone had an educational and fun time!
