Mrs. Corona's Class Gets a Letter From The President! 12.19.12

Students in Mrs. Corona’s 2^nd grade class studied the electoral process in November and followed the election closely. After President’s Obama re-election, they were so excited, they decided to write personal letters to the President congratulating him on his victory.  In December, the students were happy to discover that President Obama had not only received their letters, but he had personally responded to them. Enclosed within his letter were encouraging words about education, dedication, and commitment to leadership.  He also included an autographed portrait of himself to display in the classroom for students to remember this memorable process.
